UCFB and GIS are delighted to announce a brand new partnership with B5 Consultancy, an organisation who help develop athletes holistically, providing paramount advice on how to conduct themselves safely and respectfully within a sporting environment.
The partnership will provide UCFB and GIS students with exclusive access to a range of industry opportunities via B5, including work placement opportunities and several guest speaker sessions. Research opportunities will also be available for students, where they can explore and address challenges within the sports industry.
Sharona Friedman, President of UCFB and GIS, said: “UCFB is thrilled to partner with B5 Consultancy to continue to ensure that athletes are supported throughout their careers and into retirement. The partnership will enrich both organisations, providing valuable insight into how sporting environments can optimise athlete potential and well-being.”
Director of B5 Consultancy, Matt Himsworth, added: “This partnership with UCFB is an honour for us. We’ve been privileged to be able to work with the university in delivering content and resources and we are proud that UCFB see the value in what we do and want to expand the work we do together.
“Our aim — in helping athletes to adopt safe behaviours and cultures — is to be a small part in the positive improvement of sporting environments and we are growing every day. Partnering with UCFB means we can continue that upward trajectory in research work, knowledge and many more creative solutions to modern problems.”
