Apple’s Legacy Contact
Today I delivered a session on digital communications to corporate staff. I chatted about the impact on our health of our relationship with our phones and also the fact that we perhaps don’t pay enough care and attention to what we do on them. We update our Instagram Stories and scroll TikTok but we don’t do the important things — like adding two-step verification or adding a Legacy Contact on our iClouds.
Apple added the option of a Legacy Contact after the case I worked with the indomitable Rachel Thompson on — obtaining a court order to force Apple to give her access to her late husband’s iCloud and all of the family photographs that were there.
