We are Premier League …

A few weeks ago Fraser mentioned that he’d been chatting with former Reading manager Brian McDermott who had expressed an interest in our work and had spoken about the work he was doing to have an open conversation about mental health, imposter syndrome and the pressures of modern life.

It was remarkable, in my mind, that Brian would want to work with us. I remember him well as an articulate and engaging (not to mention highly successful) football manager competing with the likes of Arsène Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson in the Premier League.

What followed was a relaxed evening in Buckinghamshire chatting for more than two hours about our values, our experiences, our passion. All Fraser and I have ever wanted to do with B5 is good — and to make a difference. Brian shares that desire and so it came to pass that I got to announce the appointment of a Premier League manager to my little business. I am so lucky to work with Fraser and Leigh and now I’m lucky to call Brian a colleague too. Exciting times are ahead.
